Clarification
“Leadership wants something with AI, but day-to-day work isn't on board.”
We bring together leadership and the people who have to make it work, and look at data, ownership and operations before we talk about models. If it helps, we draw the solution together in Løsningsbygger, so leadership and technical people talk about the same solution.
- Involved
- Leadership and people from the departments concerned.
- You'll have
- A plan that says what should happen first, who owns it and how you can tell whether it works.
- Duration
- A short process.
Architecture review
“We have pilots that never make it into production.”
I go through data, integrations, IT and infrastructure and look at who will own the solution once it's running. That's usually where a pilot stalls, and rarely in the model.
- Involved
- IT, the people who own data and systems, and whoever will own the solution.
- You'll have
- A review of what you have and a plan for getting the pilot into production.
Rollout
“We need AI in use across our departments.”
This is where most of my engagements sit, and they usually run for several months. AI has to be adopted by departments and teams that work differently, and IT and infrastructure have to keep up. I stay with you throughout as a trusted partner, so the direction from leadership and the experience from everyday work keep meeting.
Where standard tools fall short, I build the part that's missing or work alongside your team while they do. The solution has to be explainable by people other than me.
- Involved
- Leadership, the departments and teams who will use the solutions, and IT.
- You'll have
- A trusted partner through the rollout, and solutions in production that your own people own.
- Duration
- Usually several months.
Advice for the board
“AI is on the board's agenda.”
I advise boards on AI and take part in board meetings when AI is on the agenda. The aim is for the board to ask management the questions that decide whether an AI investment holds up: who owns it, what it costs in staff time, and how you can tell whether it works.
- Involved
- The board and the executive team.
- You'll have
- A better basis for the board's decisions on AI.
